I never liked the “true” italics that were designed for Frutiger Next—and apparently neither did Adrian Frutiger, because subsequently Neue Frutiger reverted to the original oblique form. Optima Nova…1 -

It’s still possible to ask for typeface identification here, but the question has to be framed obliquely in a way that is interesting for type drawers to discuss, so it’s not just altruism for slacke…2
